UKF's researchers at a conference in Georgia
Under the bilateral agreement on academic cooperation between UKF in Nitra and the International Black Sea University in Tbilisi, Georgia, Assoc. Prof. Milan Fiľa and Dr Michal Levický took part in the 14th International Silk Road Scientific Conference on Globalization: Trends and Perspectives, which was held on October 10th and 11th, 2019 at the Georgian university.
During his opening speech, Assoc. Prof. Fiľa addressed conference participants and university students in the audience. He presented the study programs and the scientific focus of UKF, and highlighted the importance and timelessness of the topics of the conference. Within its further program, UKF's representatives introduced the issues of the business environment in Slovakia. Afterwards, they met representatives from the International Black Sea University and research institutions from several countries.
The visit to Georgia enhanced cooperation between the universities in the field of science and established platforms for future cooperation in publishing and project activities, education, and the organization of joint scientific events.
