Profile

The Faculty of Social Sciences was established in 2001 because of the need for competent specialists and client-oriented social help which arose from social changes of the time. Faculty was established by the connection of two workplaces, which cooperated separately in the field of social sciences taught at the already existing faculties of the university. The faculty was renamed to Faculty of Social Sciences and Health Care in 2004.
 

Study programmes

The activities of the Faculty of Social Sciences are aimed at the education of psychologists, nurses, social workers, professionals in social services and counselling and professionals in medical rescue work. Faculty offers 5 study programmes on Bachelor level, 3 on Master level and 3 on PhD level.
