The Faculty of Education of the CPU in Spain

Through January 15 - 19, 2024, the staff from the Department of Technology and Information Technologies of the Faculty of Education UKF – Prof. PaedDr. Alena Hašková, PhD., Assoc. Prof. PaedDr. Peter Brečka, PhD., and Mgr. Monika Valentová, PhD., took part in Erasmus+ staff mobility for training within the KA131 program at the Faculty of Education, University of Granada (UGR), Spain. During their stay they were also received by Prof. Javier Villoria Prieto, the dean of the Faculty of Education UGR and Prof. Sila Pla Pueyo, the vice-dean for internationalization. Negotiations with these leading representatives were focused on possibilities to sign a bilateral agreement between the two faculties of education, Faculty of Education of UKF and Faculty of Education of UGR, within the frame of the Erasmus+ program.
Further activities carried out during the stay were meetings with members of the Department of Pedagogy, Department of Didactics and School Organisation, and Teacher Training Centre, aimed at mutual familiarization with the educational and research activities of the staff from the mentioned workplaces of UGR on the one hand, and the Department of Technology and Information Technologies of UKF on the other hand.
Very inspiring were also discussions with doctoral students about the use of special classrooms aimed at preparation of students for their teaching practice and for implementation of educational activities (led either by in service teachers or teacher trainees).

The project is currently being prepared under the coordination of the Faculty of Education, University of Ljubljana in co-operation with UKF in Nitra, Novi Sad University, The Prague University of Economics and Business in Prague, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, and Beograd University in Beograd.
In the context of this discussion attention was also paid to other areas of possible mutual co-operation between UKF and UGR.
