On November 11, 2015, delegation from China visited the city of Nitra. Work meeting of delegates with representatives of the Chinese Embassy in Slovakia, the business sector and the education sector organized by the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry contained also the presentation of both universities of Nitra. Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra was represented by PhDr. Miroslava Líšková, PhD., Vice-Rector for Public Relations and Social Affairs. Delegates from China expressed the interest in cooperation with our university in transfer of experience within the pre-primary education, education of health professionals linked to the concept of Traditional Chinese Medicine, exchange of experience in the field of gemology and the mutual exchange of students and teachers. Representative of the Chinese Embassy in Slovakia particularly appreciated information on lecturing activity of our teacher PhDr. Marián Macho, PhD. from Department of Slovak language, Faculty of Arts, who is active as a lecturer of the Slovak language at Beijing University of Foreign Languages. Cooperation with such an important partner as China extends our possibilities for further development of international relations.
