Research teams operate across the faculties of UKF and rank among the University’s most prominent teams in terms of their research focus and achievements, internationally recognised publications, and international cooperation.

As part of Project No. 08I01-20-V05-00002, Strategic Development of the Infrastructure of the UMB and UKF Consortium, our ambition within the consortium of the two partner universities is to strengthen cooperation in research and development, thereby contributing to closer collaboration between the two institutions. In this context, particular importance is placed on bringing together research capacities in compatible research areas with a view to developing joint projects at both national and, above all, international level.

Both universities analysed their excellent research teams working across a range of fields of study in order to identify areas of shared research interest and expand cooperation between research teams and academic departments.

At UKF, a total of 30 excellent research teams across 5 faculties were identified.
