26. – 28. 11. 2019 our university was visited by Victor Chaban, professor of Charles Drew University and University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). He is a world known specialist in neurobiology and endocrinology, the author of 3 books on this subject. He has deliver a lecture "Novel Actions of Sex Steroids on Neural Reorganization" for students and specialists in biology and molecular biology.

After this lecture and the excursion through the new laboratory building of Faculty of Natural Sciences (FNS), he has meet the key administrators of the university and the faculty, whose are responsible for international cooperation of the university and FNS. During these meetings one decided to continue the collaboration between the partner universities in the following areas: (1) preparation the joint publications, (2) preparation to joint application for Erasmus+ (K 107) grant to support the mutual visits of students and teachers, (3) to search for USA programs, whose could support the scientific collaboration between our universities.

This visit was being possible due to efforts and help of Dr. J. Skalka, Prof. M. Vondrakova, Dr. M. Pavlikova, Dr. M. Drlik, Prof. R, Kralik, Prof. A. Sirotkin and their colleagues.
