Professor Jomová from the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Informatics, successfully followed up on her participation in the Clarivate™ ranking of the most cited researchers Highly Cited Researchers™ from the previous year. She was again included in the most recent world ranking of highly cited researchers.

She is the only researcher from Slovakia to be ranked among scientists whose work demonstrated a significant impact on any of the 21 research areas in the previous decade or whose work has a significant multidisciplinary impact. Professor Jomova's publications were ranked in the 1st percentile of scientific publications ranked by the number of citations in the particularly demanding research area of pharmacology and toxicology.

The professor's publication success is evidence that long-term systematic research work can significantly benefit science on a global scale, despite the long-term problems of science in Slovakia. Furthermore, her systematic work and proficiency can motivate other researchers and students to a career as a researcher.
We want to express our thanks to the professor for her significant contribution to the visibility of science at the FPVaI UKF in Nitra. We wish her good health, lots of creative energy and success in publishing, research and educational activities in the coming years.
