From September 22nd to 23rd, 2023, a research project addressing bilingual CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) instruction and professional literacy in 27 European countries was discussed at PF.

On Friday, the main representatives of the five working groups held talks in a hybrid mode and agreed on the further direction of the project. The main coordinator of the project is prof. Julia Hüttner from the Department of English and American Studies of the University of Vienna in Austria.

On Saturday, 22 participants from 16 European countries met as part of the first working group meeting, all of whom are CLIL researchers at European universities.

On behalf of Slovakia, doc. Mgr. Elena Kováčiková, PhD. from the Faculty of Education in Nitra, who is a member of this working group together with the full-time doctoral student of the Department of English Language and Culture, Mgr. Dorothea Salinková. This group deals with research on bilingual education and the content and language integrated learning (CLIL) in the European countries that are involved in this COST project.

The project will last until 2026.
