Representatives of the University of Pécs in Nitra
Within the conception of enhancing the tradition of continuous international cooperation between UKF and other European universities, a visit of the representatives of the Directorate for Grants and Innovation, University of Pécs, Balázs Czibók and Dóry Agócs, took place in June 3-4, 2015. The aim of the visit was to share experiences in high standard services for the project and research activities provided to researchers at the University of Pécs on regular basis. During their stay Balázs Czibók and Dóry Agócs met with UKF representatives, namely the vice-rectors for international relations and development and implementation of ICT, and heads of the media office and office for structural funds. To provide floor for the audience with specific needs, where different aspects and problems could be addressed in detail, two working sessions were organized. The first meeting was intended specifically for the management board of UKF and the representatives of the structural funds and media offices. The next day our guests met with the members of the Commission for innovation and development of UKF in Nitra.
In form of highly informative workshops followed by vivid discussions the representatives of the University of Pécs presented the main objectives and overall philosophy of establishing the project department, as well as their managerial background including a range of services and activities offered to researchers of Pécs University. Many interesting ideas were presented which raised interest on our part as they can help to improve overall university services available to researchers and project managers at UKF. The visit, which has been extremely enriching both professionally and socially, will certainly contribute to better streamlining of our activities in the process of preparation and coordination of projects.
