The Department of English and American Studies FF invites you to an online workshop within the Erasmus+ program.

Title of the workshop: Human Rights Nelson Mandela: the HERO within – led by Fella Benabed (Badji Mokhtar-Annaba University, Algeria)

Annotation: This workshop aims to build interdisciplinary bridges between history, culture, civic education, and psychology. It will rely on an action-oriented scenario, with a sequence of authentic communicative tasks of reception, production, and interaction in which participants will understand Nelson Mandela’s activism for human rights during the anti-apartheid struggle in South Africa. They will be inspired to apply the principles of Psychological Capital (PsyCap) - Hope, Efficacy, Resilience, and Optimism (HERO) - in their own lives to overcome challenges and promote human rights.
